A 6 week ‘Learn to Run’ programme, specifically targeted for complete beginners to running, based on Empower’s 7 point Wellbeing Programme. The 6 weeks is entirely focused on the importance of building confidence and positivity and the significance of the role played by a like-minded support network in enhancing our overall Wellbeing. Participants run Swansea Parkrun at the end of the course.
We are very proud of our 100% completion rate, and as of October 2019, 87 runners have completed the course and have joined Empower Runners as full members of Empower – a supportive, positive, ‘purple community’ of enthusiastic and committed social runners.
